We had the opportunity a few weeks ago to bring one of our Livestock Guardian Dogs in as she suddenly started having seizures. This was of course on the weekend so we were thankful someone was available. When I called they told me to come right in. they checked vitals and drew labs. The amazing staff wasted no time attending to Lilly. She had been having a seizure every 3 1/2 to 4 hours and was about due to have another one. They got an IV into her ASAP and sure enough she had another one. But they were ready. Dr. Van Fleet and his staff were amazing. They were so caring and gentle with Lilly. She is now on seizure meds and she is doing well. Dont let the Urgent Care & Emergency Hospital description of this place fool you. They provide primary care as well. Class act as soon you enter building till walking out the door. It’s an hour drive to Omnivet, passing by other vets, but it is worth the drive. From the front .desk receptionists to the caregivers, everyone was professional, respectful and caring. Examinations were thorough. Explanations/instructions, clear. Follow up the next day, appreciated. All areas are kept immaculate. I am so impressed. My dogs are in such capable hands.
