A Facility Built for Urgent and Emergency Care

Every area of our hospital supports quick, coordinated care. When a pet arrives for emergency care, our treatment area allows our team to begin emergency stabilization immediately, including oxygen support, IV fluids, and pain control. Nearby, our imaging room provides digital X-rays that are ready for review within minutes.

In-House Laboratory

Our in-house laboratory runs bloodwork, urinalysis, and other key diagnostics on site. Many results are available during your visit, which helps our veterinarians make treatment decisions faster for pets with vomiting or diarrhea, increased thirst and urination, or suspected toxin ingestion.

Surgical and Dental Suites

Our surgical suite supports emergency surgery, cesarean sections, and our year-round TPLO surgery program. Every patient under anesthesia is monitored continuously for heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and breathing. Our dental suite includes dental X-rays so we can identify problems below the gumline during dental care.

Advanced Diagnostics

Beyond standard imaging and labs, we offer minimally invasive endoscopy and consultations with our board-certified internal medicine specialist, giving Northern Michigan pets access to specialty-level care close to home.
