Dr. K.C. Van Fleet, DVM

Founder & Chief Medical Officer

After graduating, Dr. Van Fleet embarked on his career as a small animal general practitioner. His extensive experience has cultivated a deep passion for supporting pet owners and their pets during critical moments. Recognizing the profound bond between humans and animals, Dr. Van Fleet understands that some of the most stressful times for pet parents occur when their pets are sick or injured. This insight inspired him to create the Omnivet brand, which represents more than just a veterinary hospital. Omnivet embodies a commitment to providing transparent, personalized, and cooperative veterinary medical services tailored to the needs of both pet parents and employees.

In addition to focusing on pet care, Dr. Van Fleet identified the significant stress and burnout experienced by his colleagues in the profession. To address this, he has strived to establish a work environment that promotes work-life balance, employee wellness, and retention. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Van Fleet enjoys quality time with his wife and two sons, whether at the beach or on the water.
